Biking and Walking
Sustainable Scituate partners with Scituate groups PATH (People for Active Transportation and Health) and Safe Routes to School in order to create bike paths, bike parking, and a safe environment for pedestrians. Lisa Fenton came to the May 18th Sustainable Scituate Meeting to talk about the bike tour to historic sites scheduled for the fall of 2011. She also spoke about efforts at Sustainable South Shore to integrate a South Shore bike plan into the state bike plan.
